We are located just outside of London, in Redhill, Surrey. The perfect location for anyone who wants to escape the busy London commute, but still work for a reputable company with a competitive remuneration package.

You will be based at our office in Redhill, Surrey and if successful, you will join in September 2022.

The opportunity

Through a structured programme, we are offering an 18-month graduate programme where you will spend your first 6 months within our marketing department, followed by 6 months working with our sales teams.

In marketing, you will be supporting Santander Consumer’s exciting digital development strategy and award-winning customer retention programmes. Following which, you will have hands on experience in the field, with our sales teams. You will have the opportunity to work with one of our manufacturer partners, which currently includes: Mazda, MG, McLaren, KTM, and Yamaha. Finally, you will be assigned with either a marketing or sales-based project in order to support one of the many initiatives which will help drive our business forward.

Some key areas you will be directly involved in will include:

  • Supporting the continued growth of our online sales proposition  
  • Working on our end-to-end customer retention strategy for SCUK, our dealers and manufacturer partners.
  • Being the single point of reference for projects, campaigns and developing business cases that are currently in scope or awaiting delivery.
  • Supporting the management and development of several complex key business dealer relationships.
  • Maintain and develop market intelligence for business development and planning to maximise sales.

Following the successful completion of the 18-month programme, you will be offered a permanent position within one of these 2 functions.

What we are looking for

  • Predicted to receive a 2:1 or higher in your degree
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills
  • Collaborative approach - team work delivers results for everyone
  • Interested in the finance sector, specifically banking & consumer finance in an automotive industry
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to learn and adapt – recognising changing trends and tackling the unexpected with enthusiasm
  • Demonstrate innovation and are not afraid to bring new ideas to the company
