Role Summary

Working closely with the wider Commercial team in a rewarding environment, you will play a key role in delivering quality, value-for-money projects for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join our vibrant team.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and appoint subcontractors to schemes.
  • Manage subcontractor packages from appointment through to final account.
  • Prepare and submit valuations and variations on schemes.
  • Build close working relationships with Contracts Managers and site teams to deliver quality projects.
  • Undertake site visits to view completed works, assess quality, and manage costs.
  • Comply with all company systems and procedures, including the Information Management Systems.
  • Carry out any other tasks commensurate with this role.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

Knowledge

  • Third-level degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role (minimum 1 year post-graduate).

Skills

  • Ability to plan, organise, prioritise, and meet deadlines using your own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft packages, with particular emphasis on Outlook and Excel.
  • Full, valid driving licence.
