The Opportunity

We are looking for bright and enthusiastic graduate software engineers to join our R&D team in Cambridge as we continue the next chapter of product development on Pulse, our solution for the world of hybrid collaboration technology. As a graduate software engineer, you will work on everything from research and design to testing and delivering features across our entire product range.

You will be part of a small, dynamic team and will get involved in a variety of engineering problems, mainly focusing on backend development. Examples include:

  • Cloud solutions written in Go running on Docker
  • Custom Android application development using Kotlin
  • DevOps initiatives to improve our CI/CD pipeline
  • And more as we expand our product capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Implement high-quality software solutions in Golang and Kotlin
  • Utilize test-centric design to ensure highly testable and well-tested code
  • Review code and actively contribute to a strong engineering culture
  • Design technical solutions and architectures, working closely with product and engineering teams
  • Research new technology choices and present pros/cons to the engineering team

About You

  • Excellent academic results from a leading university or the ability to demonstrate outstanding technical skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Experience with Go is preferred; we also value experience in C, C++, Java, or Python, with a willingness to learn Go
  • A team player who thinks holistically, enjoys solving complex problems, and thrives working autonomously
  • Comfortable asking for input and learning from teammates when needed
