Your Opportunity:
As a Graduate Software Engineer, you'll embark on a dynamic journey that encompasses end-to-end solutions for both cyber and non-cyber innovations, cutting-edge R&D, big data analytics, systems architecture, and diverse software engineering tasks for ground-breaking projects. Within our agile development team, you'll not only contribute but also experience:
- A unique blend of experiential learning, complemented by the development of technical, soft, and leadership skills throughout a two-year program.
- Opportunities to rotate across various projects, exposing you to a spectrum of challenges and experiences.
- The co-creation of a tailored development plan designed specifically for you and aligned with your aspirations, in collaboration with your line manager. This plan may include diverse software disciplines, such as cybersecurity, architectural design, systems, and application development.
- Engaging in 'full stack' development, utilising Java-based Cloud and Big Data technologies, and leveraging the latest agile methodologies. Our projects often involve Machine Learning, AI, and Cyber components, offering you a multidimensional learning experience.
What You Bring (essential experience and qualifications):
- A relevant degree, for example, Software Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
- A passion for software, computing, online security and cyber ethics and a proven ability to write code in Java, JavaScript, C++ and/or Python.
- An understanding of the software lifecycle and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical skills, logical reasoning, and ideally, the ability to solve problems in innovative ways.
You must be able to achieve SC level security clearance for this role.
