What does a Business Improvement industrial placement have to offer?

Working within the production support teams you will focus on delivering business and quality improvement projects helping to ensure our product is right first time and manufactured as efficiently as possible.

You will assist in a number of projects throughout the year, each increasing in complexity, which may include yield maximisation and process optimisation projects, data analysis and trending and performance management. By the end of the year you should be successfully managing your own projects. The role will involve cross functional working with other functions including engineering, quality, microbiology, new product introduction and logistics.

We are looking for well-organised students with a high level of self-motivation and strong communication skills. Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills and a passion for embracing opportunities and improving processes.

Degree requirements:

  • Must be on track for a 2.1 (or above). Studying for a degree in a science or engineering related subject.
  • You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You will be expected to provide evidence from your university to show you will be an undergraduate student for the duration of the placement year.

Closing date: Wednesday 16th October 2019

The Assessment Centre for successful applicants is expected to take place on the 19th of November 2019.
