It’s a fast-paced and dynamic environment that requires a thirst for knowledge, commitment to excellence with an international perspective.
You will quickly gain experience and seniority to be able to participate to the commercial objectives of the relevant business lines. You will be fully part of the team and become responsible for various tasks to contribute to the team objectives. You will be able to develop a number of skills, including technical ones but also commercial and client capabilities. You will have the opportunity to get exposure to senior people whilst enjoying the experience of having a class of people in your year supporting you in your everyday job.
This role sits within the Advisory and Investment Banking Coverage (AIBC) area, so whether you are involved in Corporate Broking, M&A, UK Banking, Real Assets Group, Financial Institutions Group, Private Capital Group or the Financial Sponsors Group, this Investment Banking graduate programme offers you the opportunity to make a real impact.
Our Graduate Programme will help you to develop a broad range of technical and transferable skills through a tailored development plan that supports your individual strengths. Learning and development
We offer a high-quality learning and development programme. You will typically start with FCA training followed by our Global Graduate Induction, which will take place for all graduates joining our global businesses. This will provide you with an overview of HSBC as well as an opportunity to network with your 2021 global graduate peer group and colleagues in the business.
Once you have completed the Global Graduate Induction, you will join the Global Banking & Markets Technical Training. This will provide you with an understanding of how everything in the bank fits together, along with a mix of technical and regulatory training. The Technical Training is also an ideal opportunity to start building your own global network, which will prove invaluable as your HSBC career unfolds.
We’ll provide the support, tools and opportunities for you to drive your own career development. Your training will be carefully structured, with events and other opportunities to build your wider HSBC and banking knowledge. You’ll have regular access to business leaders for coaching and advice, while constructive feedback will enable you to measure your performance.
