Programme information

You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12 month contract, it is our intention to make an offer to extend a further year, but this is up to how well you perform. 75% of Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions.

Our traineeship will introduce you to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. We will support you in achieving a professional qualification if this is something you are interested in doing. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 200 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events. 

Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract. You will receive 24 days annual leave. All roles are based in London.

Programme Summary

This is a programme intended to give you a breadth of knowledge and experience within the business to enable you to make informed decisions about where you would like to develop your career.

Responsibilities include 

The Sales Support role will be to support the Institutional Sales team with both their day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives.

The main responsibilities includes but are not limited to the following:

  • Responding to and reconciling client queries such as performance updates research & analysis in relation to products and reporting requests across all institutional client segments including: pension funds, endowments and corporates.
  • Supporting the Institutional Sales Team with client prospecting activities (i.e. market segment analysis and client mapping) and maintenance of CRM (Client Relationship Management) database.
  • Working with the Sales Team to help position and pitch strategies and products with clients and prospects (i.e. constructing pitch decks and producing trade ideas).
  • Coordination of UK Institutional sales events and monitoring of the marketing budget allocated to the team. 
  • Assistance in cross-segment UK events wherever the team is involved. 
  • Close collaboration and strong communication with various teams within Amundi UK and the broader Amundi Group to ensure effective client responses.
  • Supporting client request for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
  • Working alongside the Institutional client service team to facilitate client account opening.
  • Managing a number of internal team reports for senior management such as monthly team figures, pipelines and CRM activities.

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Highly organised with excellent abilities to multitask and problem solve.
  • Good time management skills and a team player.
  • Proactive and at ease with assuming responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Resourceful and proactive – able to assimilate and present information from a range of sources.
  • Good written and spoken English.
