Proeon Systems Ltd part of the RSK Group is a a specialist systems integrator supplying control and safety solutions for complex and critical applications in a variety of industry sectors.

We are continually looking for people to be part of our growing and forward looking company. We are now hiring for a Junior Technician - Fire & Gas to join the Proeon Team Full-Time, working from our Hethel Engineering Centre in Hethel, Norwich, Norfolk, UK

This is a role that would suit a newly qualified electrical technician, recently finished their apprenticeship or similar, looking for their next challenge. This role is a training role where full training will be provided by Proeon Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project engineering support
  • Planning of project activities including supporting the creation and delivery of project work plans with revision as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Working with the client to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects
  • Support preparation of agreed project documentation
  • Support preparation of project status reports to clients and company management.
  • Liaison with vendors and suppliers
  • Attendance at clients sites for customer support
  • Support Producing detailed systems designs for fire and gas systems
  • Interface with clients representatives to develop designs
  • Support the management of projects to ensure software/hardware being developed by other engineers is functionally correct and conforms to company/customer standards and legislation
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Company’s QA standards in all relevant reporting, documentation, record-keeping and procedures
  • Ensuring that project specific task targets are met with respect to both timeliness and cost
  • Updating / reviewing cost to complete documentation
  • Taking an active role in the support of sales activities with the preparation of technical proposals and direct client contact as appropriate

Person Specification:

  • Ideal role for a newly qualified electrical technician
  • Willingness to learn
  • PC literate
  • Ability to travel to client sites
  • Positive and professional conduct
  • Excellent interpersonal skills external and internal
  • Competence in project planning methodology

Salary & Benefits:
