The Technology Operations Services Group (TSOG) provides the high-performance compute environment that fuels product and solutions development for Arm's engineering community. Whether it’s high-performance compute on our infrastructure and in the cloud, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, or bespoke software tools and workflows, the products and services we deliver are used by every engineer in Arm.

Working closely with technical leads, technical managers, project managers, and engineering teams across TSOG you will be a key contributor in providing automated project solutions, supporting daily ticket systems for common technical issues, and being core resources for high visibility projects which contribute to making our services secure, resilient, and utilise latest technologies. 

What skills, experience, and qualifications will you bring?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong set of RedHat skills, preferably RH Certification
  • Understanding of software development methodologies -e.g. Agile, EDA Tools and Licensing, JIRA and Confluence experience

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge on Linux OS fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • Skilled with OpenSource tool installations and dependencies
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Python, Perl etc)
  • Hands-on experience with automation and devops tools like Ansible, Puppet, Git/Gerrit
  • Capable of identifying common tedious tasks, and looks to improve processes through automation
  • Skilled with coding, and able to develop frameworks that provide solutions across multiple applications
  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies AWS, Google, Azure from a development perspective
  • Understanding Linux environment variable
  • Understanding of the concepts of licenses management and basic reporting
  • Understanding of Web Server configurations such as Apache
  • Good understanding and experience in monitoring and alerting tools and technologies
  • Demonstrate equal passion and knowledge for Operations and Development
  • Strong skillset with Vulnerability Management and security patching our ever-changing environment
