They are proud to work for a company that respects them and broader communities, and they trust us to be financially sustainable so we are successful now, and in the future.

The Role

Based in Stratford upon Avon, our IT Technical Specialist Graduate Scheme requires technically minded graduates that can lead technology change to join our IT Technical Leadership Scheme.

You will receive a full corporate induction, along with a tailored local induction programme with your own coach and mentor from a previous scheme.

As well as an opportunity to grow within a structured development environment, we provide a competitive salary and benefits that include a contributory pension scheme, a company performance related bonus and 25 days holiday. We will be with you every step of the way as you develop your career with NFU Mutual.

Job Specification

As well as learning about key technologies supporting the insurance industry and our business, we will be up-skilling you to understand Cloud, Security and many other integral technologies. We’ve structured the scheme so that you rotate through a series of different placements to give you a broad understanding of different IT departments and how they work together. You can look forward to exciting work, hands-on exposure and the opportunity to gain valuable professional qualifications. It’s insightful, varied and dynamic.

Person Specification

Alongside a good degree, you’ll need to have an enthusiastic, positive and proactive nature – that’s really important. You’re someone who’s keen to learn and get involved; someone who grabs hold of opportunities rather than waiting for them to come. You pair ambition and determination with excellent team working and people skills. And right now, you’ll be ready to thrive and make your mark on everything the scheme brings your way. You’ll effectively collaborate with colleagues and build strong professional relationships at every level throughout your journey here.

Qualifications/Other

You will have obtained a 2:2 degree or above in a relevant degree from an established academic institution.
