Fixed Income Quantitative Research
The Fixed Income Quantitative Research team builds and maintains the mathematical models used by Nomura to price and risk manage Fixed Income derivative trades. The team works closely with the various trading desks in Fixed Income, including Interest Rates, Credit and Foreign Exchange, as well as the technology and support teams. It is involved in many aspects of the business, from building tools to support trading activity to researching and implementing new mathematical models for exotic products. The team owns the analytics underpinning the risk and P&L reports, and is an integral part of the recent focus at Nomura on our electronic offering to clients. The team is close-knit and multicultural, and works seamlessly across geographies.
