About the host organisation

This organisation is a boutique travel & tourism company that aims to assist inbound tourists plan authentic and memorable trips. The company consists of a team of 12 full time employees each passionate travelers who work together to use their extensive experience to make sure that each trip created satisfies the needs of the client as well as providing them with the opportunity to comfortably navigate the vast expanse of India. The company has an open, relaxed culture full of employees that love exploring India and sharing it with others.

About the internship

This travel and tourism company is centred on creating authentic and personalised trips throughout India for their clients. As the intern, you will be responsible for compiling market research, aiming to source and target clients from the United Kingdom on a B2B and a B2C level. This research will then be used to suggest a marketing plan that you will help to execute alongside the marketing team.

Note:This internship employer will pay a monthly stipend

What we are looking for?

For this internship, we are looking for penultimate or final year students or graduates who must meet the following requirements:

  • Passionate about travel
  • Understanding of marketing practices and research
  • Proficient in the use of social media
  • Enthusiasm, energy and a passion for learning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to ‘muck in’ and support the team in activities outside your job description
  • Self-motivated and proactive

Additionally, the following is desirable but not essential:

  • Previous experience in marketing
