As a Graduate you will be working collaboratively with members of the Quality team to undertake inspections of the products in accordance with the relevant inspection, test plans, processes and procedures within Naval Ships

Follow you passion with the following responsibilities:

  • Work with the quality team and support inspection requirements across the build programme
  • Responsible for upholding Safety Health and Environment procedures and responsible business behaviours
  • Attend and support conducting conditions management and customer walk-round audits
  • Undertake routine Quality inspection activities in their related area with supervision
  • Support non-routine/complex activities in their related area with supervision
  • Manage own development
  • Able to access, have a clear understanding of and apply the local Management System documentation e.g. policies, procedures, workmanship standards, risk assessments and processes and apply in their related area
  • Liaise / interface with appropriate areas of the business and build effective relationships
  • Utilise calibrated measuring equipment to assess and measure tolerances of the product and record any non-conformances
  • Support the verification of non-conformances
  • Support the reporting of results of inspections using agreed processes
  • Familiarisation of Company computer systems and software as appropriate
  • Articulate and deliver Quality objectives
  • Contribute in team meetings and working groups
  • Represent the department at local Quality reviews and liaise with the customer when required
  • Support report writing and the creation of presentations ensuring accuracy and clarity of meaning

As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
