London

This Insight Week’s a great way to broaden your professional horizons and discover what a career in Private Banking’s all about.

The programme runs over four days, starting in September 2020.

You’ll gain valuable experience, learn about our day to day work, and shadow talented female colleagues in Coutts.

About the business area

With over 325 years of history, Coutts has defined the private banking sector, combining our expertise and experience of building relationships with our clients to provide a world-class service.

From every day banking and lending to specialist financial advice, our clients expect the best products and services to meet their needs.

We understand the intricacies of international and ultra high net worth individuals and supporting their ambitions is at the heart of what we do.

About the programme

We created this programme to celebrate and promote female talent in our business and you can look forward to:

  • Client facing experience with one of our expert  Wealth Managers or Private Bankers
  • Building  a network with previous and current graduates
  • Meeting Private Banking’s Executive committee
  • Exploring our Wealth & Private banking products

Over four days, you’ll learn more about Coutts and meet with female colleagues, hear about their career journeys and see how they deliver first class solutions for our Private Banking clients.

The internship involves working with current graduates and shadowing females in Coutts – all so you’ll gain insight into our day-to-day work and team culture, and to see if a career in Private Banking’s right for you.

You’ll meet our team of  Private Bankers and Wealth Managers, explore our products and services and see how we provide specialist financial advice to clients.

The Insight Week’s unpaid, but we cover accommodation and travel costs if you live more than 30 miles away from the office where the programme’s based.

There’s an assessment day at the end of the week which includes a group discussion, interview, role play and a written exercise. It’s so you can show us what you’ve learned and for you to reflect on your experiences. If you pass the assessment you could be offered a place on our Summer Internship programme in 2021!
