Supporting the team, you will take responsibility for managing third party logistics providers to maximise the availability of our products into the distribution centres and stores.

In conjunction with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering a high quality and cost efficient inbound supply chain both through operational and project management. You will be working as part of a growing and developing supply chain team, looking for continuous improvement within your role to simplify processes and maximise efficiencies.

As Replenishment Assistant, you will have responsibility for ordering merchandise efficiently whilst taking into consideration stock levels, stock turnover, and availability. You will achieve compliance with all internal and external guidelines and regulations whilst ensuring a co-operative working environment, minimising costs and reducing losses.

Your new role

  • Update all relevant departments with information regarding product data
  • Provide and analyse information regarding supplier performance
  • Manage assigned products by monitoring stock levels, providing forecasts and providing feedback to the Trading Director on any issues.
  • Managing emergency Withdrawals and keeps all relevant departments informed.
  • Ensure the information required regarding Regional Buying of products is maintained.
  • Maintain and control the stock of calibrated temperature probes for stores asper the legal requirements.
  • Recall damaged/ faulty stock to the regional distribution centre and arranges for collection/ credit from suppliers.
  • Provide the Trading Director with appropriate information regarding hardline re-orders
  • Liaise with both external auditors as well as external bodies when required.
  • Working with external consultants regarding Health and Safety or Food Safety issues when required
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders from different departments regarding product issues

About you

  • Experience in FMCG sector with knowledge of stock management, and wastage control for example forecasting and ordering products.
  • Previous experience of forecasting data.
  • Experience of working with external suppliers.
  • Confident communicator with the ability build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to provide effective solutions to challenges.

  • 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 2 days per week. (May also be required to work weekends)
