 Turner Iceni are looking for a graduate placement to support the development of the architecture for its M-HAS condition monitoring product.

Project Description

 The Project will be based on developing the software interface to sensors, controller and cloud -  based internet database. The role requires an ability to write in Python, C code and for the individual to be comfortable with Linux operating systems. Knowledge in using MySQL databases is also an advantage.

Placement Objectives

Turner Iceni are looking for a graduate placement to support the development of the architecture for its M-HAS condition monitoring product.

Role Description

 Software Development

  • Interfacing with sensors

  • Work closely with M-HAS team on Raspberry Pi OS’

  • Working on data analysis scripts

  • Networking software development

Big data platform development

  • Support M-HAS team in developing and managing SQL databases and data flow architecture

  • Server management skills

  • Support all team members in data analysis and machine learning


  • Degree in a computer science related discipline(s).
  • Skills / Experience
  • Essential Skills

Experience and knowledge

  • Python software coding


  • Ability to absorb a wide range of information

  • Ability to balance new and innovative projects with day to day functional tasks

  • Ability to present information clearly both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to challenge the System Design Engineer and M - HAS technical staff’s thinking on development issues

Other position specific requirements

  • Able to travel to support projects
