You will learn from our experts, gain valuable experience, build your confidence and have the support of a career line manager and placement manager, mentor and buddy throughout your time on the programme.  

What You Will Be Doing 

Throughout your time on the programme, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience through a series of rotations across our Finance teams. This includes working closely with both the Finance Business Partner and the Finance Reporting Team. You’ll play an integral role in a high-performing team, contributing to strategic decision-making, driving operational performance, and enhancing organisational efficiency.

As a Finance Graduate at Sizewell C, we’ll fully support you in achieving your CIMA Chartered Accounting qualification, helping you build a solid foundation for a successful career.

Your Work Location 

Whilst you will be based at one of our Sizewell C offices in London with placements of up to 6, you may also be required to travel to another location for your placements, to support other business units and to expand your knowledge and experience of the Nuclear Industry. 

Who You Are 

To be eligible for this Sizewell C graduate programme, you will need to have achieved, or be expecting to achieve, a bachelor’s degree (2:2 or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Maths or other numerical disciplines.  

We are looking for people with a genuine interest in nuclear energy, excellent communication and organisational skills, and have a strategic mindset that brings innovative ideas. You will need to be open minded, flexible and have an agile way of thinking to succeed in a dynamic changeable project environment. Effective interpersonal skills are key, as well as being able to demonstrate high ethical behaviour, integrity, humility, and character.

The Sizewell C team is one of the most exciting and largest new megaprojects in the UK, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. We have begun constructing a 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast in the East of England replicating, wherever possible, the design used for Hinkley Point C, another nuclear power station being built in Somerset.

When built, Sizewell C will be one of the largest power stations to operate in the UK. The power station will generate low carbon electricity for at least 60 years, supplying over 6 million homes and supporting around 7% of the UK’s current electricity needs.
