ABOUT THE POSITION

The company is looking to recruit a skilled Analyst Developer, to join our Business Intelligence team. The role is well suited to an individual who likes using their problem-solving skills to improve business processes across a range of departments and using coding skills to integrate these processes into our systems. 

As an Analyst Developer, you will be part of the team that maintains and develops our suite of applications used across the company, in particular within the marketing, compliance, and back-office functions.

You will also work with other business departments to create technical solutions, that can then be implemented alongside our internal development team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Analysing new business requirements to find the most appropriate technical solution
  • Developing and implementing solutions, such as reports and applications that help the company access information. This is mostly done in C#, with SQL coding used when interacting with the database.
  • Working with the IT department, and wider business, to document new requirements and communicate them to the development team
  • Assisting with the user acceptance testing, liaising with relevant business users to ensure that new functionality works as intended

ABOUT YOU

  • You will have a mathematical or IT based degree from a top University at grade 2-1 or higher.
  • Strong A-Level’s, in Science or Maths based subjects.
  • Programming experience preferably in C#, and SQL would be an advantage.
  • Ability to deal with quantitative based problems - particular in probability.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detailed understanding of the rules of play for major sports

COVID-19 ARRANGEMENTS - In the long run, this role will be conducted from our St Albans office, however, arrangements can be made to enable you to work remotely whilst the Covid-19 pandemic persists.
