We were formed by the merger of George Wimpey and Taylor Woodrow in 2007, and have operations in the UK and Spain. We aim to be the developer of choice for customers, employees, communities and shareholders.
Here at Taylor Wimpey we foster a culture of equality, inclusion and diversity and commit to creating an environment where everyone can be their whole self at work. We know that as an organisation and as an industry we have a lot of work to do in this space but we are committed to change. Our Board of Directors is now 50% women and we are proud to have recruited over 50% women into our Graduate programme in the last 3 consecutive years. Our BAME representation for all of our early entry programmes is also growing year on year helping us create a more diverse workforce for the future. We recognise that there is more work to be done and we are striving to improve diversity and inclusion across all areas of our business.
We integrate sustainability into the design and construction of our homes and developments and are working towards our target to reduce carbon emissions from customer homes in use by 75% by 2030.
