CALA Homes Southern Home Counties (SHC) have a unique opportunity to offer a rotational internship placement for an individual interested in the end to end process of housebuilding based primarily at our office in Surrey.
Our Construction Teams are responsible for the safe delivery of homes to our customers, with particular attention to Health, Safety & Environmental matters, Programme Attainment, Product Quality, Cost Management, Contractor and Supplier liaison and a strong customer focus. We work closely with our commercial, technical, sales and customer service colleagues to ensure a team approach. Due to the rotational nature of this role it is anticipated that the candidate will be required to travel between sites.

We are seeking an intern placement student who is keen not only to learn about the construction aspects of housebuilding but who has a lively interest in rotating to other parts of the business such as our commercial, technical, sales and customer service colleagues in order to gain an understanding of the full lifecycle of the business.
You will be working towards a degree in construction and the built environment or a related subject and be confident with people and have the energy passion and ability to learn from colleagues and to pull together various aspects to see the big picture.
Whilst undertaking the rotational placement you will have the opportunity to gain experience working with a major UK housebuilder and leading provider of desirable homes across the UK. You will receive on the job training and be given learning opportunities to develop your core skills and help set you up for success.
