Our vacation schemes offer the perfect launch pad for legal careers. In fact, around three quarters of trainee solicitors who join us each year have taken part in one. Lasting three weeks, our paid summer vacation scheme will give you invaluable first-hand insights and help you develop the kind of skills needed as an elite lawyer.

Working alongside approachable partners, associates and trainees, you’ll get involved in real client work across our key practice groups. You’ll draft documents, go to meetings, do legal research and, where possible, attend court. It’s hands-on learning complemented by interactive workshops, discussions, work shadowing and fun social events.

Our summer vacation scheme is open to penultimate and final-year year students, as well as graduates, with any degree subject. We look for intellectually curious, collaborative and determined individuals from all kinds of backgrounds and with all kinds of experience. A strong academic record is important: you should have, or be on track for, a good 2:1 or above in your degree. You must also be the kind of person who adapts well to new situations, delivers on their promises and has the creativity to take ideas in new directions.

Above all, you must be able to work well with others and build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
