We’re on the lookout for talented individuals to join our London Investment Banking teams covering Power, Utilities and Energy Transition, and Communications and Media as Investment Banking Summer Analysts and support a franchise with exceptional growth prospects. Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work under the direction of a senior officer and with other experienced professionals in the Communications & Media team, helping to generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions.

How you will contribute

Research and analyse clients’ financial situations, industry and market data
Develop operating and valuation models of private and public companies as well as merged entities
Apply valuation tools to assess opportunities
Prepare external client presentations, proposals and internal memos
Aid senior team members with idea generation and in all phases of M&A transaction execution
Work proactively across multiple product groups and geographies

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

2:1 or above degree (or equivalent) qualification
Previous work experience in corporate finance or investment banking
Demonstrated experience in relevant financial modelling and valuation work
Genuine interest in telecommunications and digital infrastructure (e.g., fibre, data centres, broadcast and telecom towers, satellites, submarine cables, etc.) is considered a plus
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results under time pressure
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong judgment able to work with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization, including external stakeholders
Fluency in at least one additional European language is advantageous
Graduating in 2024
