Teacher Training Programme for Physics, Maths or Art graduates

Join our outstanding and supportive teacher training programme!

Our recruitment for the September 2022 programme is almost complete, but if you have a good degree in either Physics, Maths or Art, and are set on a career in teaching, please contact us.

We offer a high quality, fully funded, 4 year programme of teacher training, complete with free on site accommodation and free meals during term time . Salary: £23,760 per annum.

In essence the programme consists of:

• Year 1 - Building classroom experience, knowledge and pedagogy through observation and class teaching on a reduced timetable.
• Year 2 - A fully funded, in-school, PGCE course provided by Sussex University. Increased teaching load and further responsibility.
• Year 3 - Early Career Teacher (ECT), greater autonomy, 10% reduction in teaching load
• Year 4 - Early Career Teacher (ECT), 5% reduction in teaching load.

Throughout this time we offer close and supportive mentorship, and a CPD programme.
