Do you have an eye for detail, a good grasp of the English language and outstanding editing skills? We are looking for a full time content editor to join our expanding team of specialists, and help support our compliance, technical and marketing communications.

About threesixty

threesixty (part of Standard Life Aberdeen PLC) provide cost-effective compliance, training and bespoke development support solutions within the financial services industry to over 900 directly regulated IFA practices and discretionary management firms

About the role

The Content editor will be responsible for the co-ordination and publication of content to threesixty’s websites. They will be meticulous and ensure that all communications (across a variety of mediums) conform to house styles, are written in plain English, and are presented correctly. They will be proactive in suggesting improvements and implementing changes.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

  • To co-ordinate and publish content to threesixty’s client and public facing websites
  • To work closely and liaise with other departments to produce high quality material, ensuring all content conforms to house styles, is presented as it should, and is free from error
  • To regularly review and monitor threesixty’s content and communications, to ensure they’re consistent, functional and to an exceptional standard
  • To ensure threesixty’s online content is accessible, search engine optimized and provides an excellent user experience
  • To track and analyse website traffic, then utilise this information to highlight strengths, weaknesses and suggest ideas for further change and development
  • To assist threesixty in implementing its social media strategy across a variety of platforms
  • To assist with other office administrational duties when required

Skills and personality

  • A high level of literacy, with a passion for writing and an outstanding attention to detail
  • A drive for continuous development and improvement
  • Positive and proactive attitude, able to respond well to criticism and calls for edits or other changes
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work effectively within team environment
  • Reliable with a willingness to learn from, and help others
  • Numerical ability - statistical analysis, working with spreadsheets

Preferred experience

  • Experience of using a content management system to manage website content
  • Experience and interest in social media
