At DWF we use our values to help define and reinforce our culture and enable us to recruit, retain and develop the highest quality people. This is reflected in our qualifying work experience, where our trainees are made to feel part of the DWF team from the moment of offer.

Once within the business, our trainees get a high level of responsibility in terms of legal work and exposure to business development, innovation and CSR. Many DWF trainees also have the opportunity to complete a client secondment.

DWF have committed to transitioning to the SQE from 2022 so trainees in England will now undertake the 32-month training contract. This includes a period of full-time study at BPP University Law School to prepare for and sit the SQE 1 assessment and to practice and develop legal knowledge and skills.
