I started the Alstom Services Graduate scheme with little-to-no knowledge of rolling stock or rail systems. It is a rare opportunity to get a flavour for all areas of the services operation including engineering, production, commercial, and procurement. The support from colleagues, managers and mentors throughout the scheme will give you a learning experience like no other, leaving you with the necessary skills to progress your career in an area of the business you are passionate for!

From investigating failures and compiling engineering changes on the East Anglia fleet, to designing equipment, improving procedures and negotiating financials with the customer on Crossrail, I have been given the floor to make tangible contributions to the organisation while developing myself ; and you can do the same on the Alstom graduate scheme!
