After completing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, I thought adapting to the rail industry might be difficult. However, through my graduate scheme at Alstom I have been able to quickly learn about many aspects of rolling stock and rail systems. The graduate scheme gave me the flexibility to move around to different parts of the business and get stuck into many different kinds of projects. From time with the engineering and operations teams to time with our digital integration teams I have been supported by managers and team members alike and trusted to deliver meaningful projects that have a real impact on how the business works.

Since finishing the scheme I have become a Business Improvement Specialist and use all the skills I learned on the scheme to effectively support the projects I manage.
