After I finished my Engineering master’s degree in France, I was looking for an opportunity that combined engineering and project management. The Alstom graduate programme offered me the possibility to rotate within different departments, gaining experience within all key aspects of an international company: engineering, procurement, commercial, production, project management etc.

Based in London, I rotate between their many maintenance depots every 4 to 6 months. Improving spare parts management, analysing the cost of fleet obsolescence over 30 years of service, or trialling new digital tools for maintenance are some of the projects I lead over the last year and a half. The key of the scheme is flexibility, so it’s perfect to kick start your career and find out what you like!
