At the core of our business is learning and development of our own ANDis. Our ANDuction and award-winning Bootcamp is the perfect way to start your new career here at AND. All new ANDis undertake a week of ANDuction, providing a jam-packed, fun-filled orientation into the world of AND, our ways of working and culture & values - the perfect launch pad to accelerate your new career, followed by a further two weeks - Welcome to AND Bootcamp! You'll experience a total of three weeks of icebreakers and workshops, and your first build project, ensuring you have everything you need to hit the ground running when you join your squad.

We operate a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility to work from the office, home, client site, or another suitable location. However, we do look for our ANDis to be based in commutable distance to their office (we don't offer remote working roles).

Our people’s well-being inside and outside of work is a core priority for us, which is why we offer 25 days holiday allowance + bank holidays and an extra day over Christmas (if you're on Santa's nice list). We’ve also moved to “Blended Working”, giving ANDis the autonomy to work from home or their clubhouse to complete their projects. Every ANDi gets a brand new MacBook and a £50 IT accessories budget when they start.To make sure all ANDis are supported and comfortable whilst at home, we also offer a working from home budget to help equip home offices with ergonomic tech and furniture so everyone has the right surroundings to be productive.

Every ANDi receives 13 days for learning and upskilling each year, plus a training budget. You'll also receive 2 volunteering days each year to allow you to give back to the community. Recruitment Process

Please submit your CV directly via our website (by clicking apply here). A recruiter will then look through it, and decide whether to conduct a first initial phone call to find out more about you. The next stage is then a technical test related to the role you have applied to. If that goes well, we then want to meet you virtually for a technical interview lasting 1 hour. The final stage is an in person group exercise in one of our offices, where we want to see you working as part of a team.

Equality and Diversity

As a people first business, it is important to create an environment where everyone has the same opportunities to grow, develop and succeed. More needs to be done to encourage women and people of all backgrounds into the tech industry. The most significant factor driving our gender pay gap is the ratio of men to women, both in our business and in the industry as a whole. We believe that our innovative approaches to recruitment and internal progression will help address this. We currently lack enough data to properly see any clear driving factors in our ethnicity pay gap. However, we acknowledge the need for better representation of gender and ethnicities. Our Structural Inclusion approach, which we are in the process of implementing, will help solve this.

Our Board Level Social Ethics and Inclusion committee is made up of ANDis who champion diversity & inclusion, social impact, and ethics within AND Digital. The committee is committed to making AND Digital a great place to work. The committee ensures AND Digital is operating according to our values and business principles; supporting all of our people in the best possible way. Together, they develop and review the SEI vision, overseeing the company’s commitment to it and progress on its delivery.

We have dedicated internal communities set up to provide additional support and increase awareness across AND Digital for:Women in tech,BAME (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic),LGBTQ+,Working Parents,Distinguishing Differences (neurodiversity and disability).
We're proud to work with and support a range of partners, from charities to social enterprises, focused on specific communities

We run ‘tea and tech’ sessions with senior guests to share how technology can help in their daily lives. We offer roles to refugees and provide the training and support they need to succeed as a developer, via our partner Code Your Future. ANDis across the country deliver free courses in coding to women, in partnership with Code First Girls, teaching them the fundamentals of modern web development.
