Our Trainee Schemes

Our trainee schemes are structured training programmes combining practical experience with technical studies, as well as providing numerous opportunities to increase your skill set with internal courses ranging from personal impact and negotiation skills to time management and delivering presentations.

Online application & testing
The first stage of our recruitment process is an online application for your personal details and background, this should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. Please make sure the information you provide in this section is accurate as this will form part of our screening process, should you receive a job offer from us.

Once this has been completed you will be forwarded directly to our online numerical and verbal reasoning tests (please see the recruiter tips section of the website to read our advice on how to prepare and be successful in these tests).

If you are successful in these tests, your application will be reviewed by a member of our recruitment team. We’ll aim to get back to you with a result via email as soon as we can. Please note, we receive a high volume of applications between September and December so bear with us during this time.

Video Interview
If you pass the online tests and your application is successfully screened, you will be invited to take part in a video interview. We will send you an email with a link to take part in a video interview, here you will find instructions on what to expect during the interview and have the chance to practice a few questions.

The interview itself will take up to 30 minutes so please ensure you have the available time and are somewhere quiet without any interruptions – for more advice please see the recruiter tips section of the website. The video interview will contain both motivational and competency-based questions.

Once you have completed your video interview, your responses will be reviewed by a member of our early careers recruitment team. You can expect to hear back from us within 15 working days, please note this may take slightly longer during our busy recruitment season (September to December).

You will receive the result of your video interview via email, please note we are unable to provide feedback at this stage of the process due to high volumes of applications.

Assessment centre
The final stage of our recruitment process will be a virtual assessment centre including an individual interview. If you are successful in your video interview, we will email you to make arrangements. You can expect a final decision within a couple of days along with detailed two-way feedback.
