About Metropolitan Police
Working for the Met doesn’t have to mean patrolling the streets. Just as important as our uniformed officers is our 14,000-strong team of professional and support staff working behind the scenes. It’s these skilled people who provide the organisational capability to police London.
Support the projects that keep us ahead of threats.
As the threat of terrorism changes and evolves, we need to be ready – and that means constantly adapting. Working within Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP), you’ll help to deliver change within the CTP network. It’s your chance to play your part in a challenge that’s as important as it gets: protecting the UK and its communities.
Discover a fascinating role that’s at the heart of protecting the UK public. As part of Counter Terrorism Policing, you can expect a range of benefits plus the chance to develop and progress.
The current operational environment for the Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ) is dynamic, and CT Policing must continually respond to the threat faced, therefore change is at the heart of CT. Working within Counter Terrorism Policing HQ (CTPHQ) the Project/Programme Support Officer (PSO) is part of the Change Pillar. The Change Pillar is responsible for overseeing change activity across the CT Network.
