About National College of Education
The National College of Education is an independent college that is raising the status of the teaching profession. From Teacher Training to the most popular leadership masters in the UK, we deliver an outstanding learning journey for everyone in the sector.
Our Graduate Teacher Programme is the most comprehensive route for trainees available. Learners will emerge with a completed Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (PGTA), PGCE, Qualified teacher status (QTS) and Level 7 credits. You'll be earning a salary whilst doing so - plus there are absolutely no tuition fees to pay.
The programme lasts for 15 months and you'll be in one school for the duration, meaning you'll learn the ropes from day one in a practical setting whilst studying for the pedagogical theory that underpins your work.
Once you qualify as a newly qualified teacher (NQT), you'll have over a year of experience in the school you trained in, making it a fantastic environment for you to begin your teaching career in.
Throughout the programme, you'll have a whole network of support as you progress on this learning journey, from the team here at the National College of Education, to your school, to our University partner.
See what our current learners are saying about their learning journey with us on Twitter!
