Thomas Franks Limited is a Independently owned contract catering company. We specilise in providing catering services to corporate head office, independent schools and care home locations across the UK, Malta & Portugal.

We have stayed true to our original vision: a legacy business, family owned and run. Thomas Franks will always be about family – a family that includes all those with whom we work and partner.

We currently operate in over 135 locations across the UK with an annual turnover of over £50 million with no debt. We have grown and recovered since the pandemic and even during the pandemic we kept the majority of our employees.

Thomas Franks have recently won two of the most prestigious awards in the hospitality sector. Best Employer & Best Food Service provider at the Catey awards (The hospitality industry "Oscar" awards.

Thomas Franks cares about its employees, as it is a family business, when you join Thomas Franks you become part of the family. Our culture and values are about rewarding people and looking after its employees as well as providing our clients with a client first approach because without our fabulous clients we do not have a business.
Sustainability is a big part of Thomas Franks culture and we aim for B-Corp status by 2023 and have many ISO certifications as well as being awarded silver in investors in people (aiming for gold later this year!).

Our recruitment process

The recruitment process is an initial telephone| teams interview, then a formal interview and presentation to a Thomas Franks director and a member of the HR team. Generally the length of the process is approx 2 weeks from start to finish.

Founded in 2019 by Frank and Emma Bothwell, the Thomas Franks Foundation was created to provide support to disadvantaged and vulnerable children and young adults across the UK. Frank and Emma have long shared a mutual desire to ‘give back’ from their successful business and the Foundation will provide a focal point for fundraising within the wider Thomas Franks community.
