International Business Law
This course provides graduates in law or any other relevant discipline with the opportunity for advanced learning in certain key areas of international business law. You will also undertake an advanced study of strategic management and marketing modules, to complement and contextualise the legal areas.
Normally an undergraduate degree in Law or any other appropriate discipline, at class 2.2 or above, or a relevant equivalent level professional qualification.
The course is suitable for a wide range of recent home, EU and overseas law and non-law graduates as well as professional returners to higher education.
The course will suit those who wish to pursue a career in international business or legal practice. The block delivery mechanism enables individuals employed to study one or more modules in a cost - and time – efficient mode.
Modules include: Strategic international business management; international business law; international corporate law and governance; marketing international business; business innovation project.
Assessment methods may include: Individual or group work; research based assignments; presentations; seen or unseen examinations; closed or open-book examinations.
