Advanced Mechanical Engineering with Power Plant Technologies
This course was introduced last year and is aimed at students who want to study advanced topics in mechanical engineering with a focus on power plant technologies. It provides mechanical engineering graduates with an in-depth technical understanding of advanced mechanical engineering topics relevant to the power generation industry. You'll also develop generic skills that allow you to contribute effectively in developing company capabilities. The course helps to make you more employable and also satisfies the further learning requirements necessary to obtain Chartered Engineer status.
Degree in engineering or physical sciences or equivalent professional qualification. Preferably a first a second class honours degree, equivalent to a UK 2:1 degree. A 2:2 may be considered with relevant industrial experience.

Assessment is by written assignments, exams and the individual project.
Course fees for Scottish and EU students are £5,500. For students from the rest of the UK, course fees are £9,000. Course fees for international students are £18,000.
