Chartered Banker

This course enables individuals to gain the dual award of a MBA in banking and finance and chartered banker status; applicants with an approved professional banking qualification may be admitted to the accelerated chartered banker MBA route; this means that applicants may be exempted from some modules. Entry requirements

MBA: A 2.2 Honours degree is required. English Language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5).

Course modules

Core modules: financial institutions risk management; credit and lending; professional ethics and regulation; corporate finance; corporate strategy; managerial economics; research methods; human resources/organisational behaviour; plus 4 from: marketing strategy; international banking; financial analysis; new venture creation; financial crises and regulation; Islamic banking and finance; capital markets and treasury management; private banking and wealth management.
