Business with Consumer Psychology

The course is designed for students wishing to start, or further develop, careers in consumer psychology and business; the marriage of both disciplines aids understanding behaviour and specifically consumer behaviour in the world of business.

Entry requirements

A 2.2 Honours degree, preferably in a related subject, e.g. business, psychology, marketing, finance, management from a university, or a similar qualification from any other institution is required. Or a suitable professional qualification and relevant practical experience may also be accepted. Applicants are judged on their individual merits and age, work experience and other factors are also considered. If the native language is not English, students require IELTS: 6.0 (with no element below 5.5); Pearson PTE: a score of 56 (with no element lower than 51); Cambridge English Test advanced: 169 (with no element lower than 162).

Course modules

Compulsory modules: consumer psychology; nudges and behaviour change; marketing strategy; management research; applied consumer psychology; plus 3 from: European business; new venture creation; contemporary issues in management finance for managers; enterprise by design; marketing communication; entrepreneurial marketing.
