Management and Digital Business
This programme will cover a range of management studies and will focus on enabling students to understand, manage and exploit the digital technologies required by modern global businesses. It is anticipated that graduates from this degree will deliver the next generation of digital applications and platforms to a wide range of industries. The programme will prepare students for a variety of job opportunities in the postgraduate market, including the areas of business operations, business analysis, and project initiative.
The programme welcomes a wide range of applicants, the key entry criteria being that all candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to benefit from and contribute to the programme, and they will normally match the entry criteria below:
- a degree from a recognised University or from an equivalent awarding institution at second class honours level or above; or
- a professional qualification recognised as equivalent to the above; or
- an award which the University has agreed to accept as equivalent to a degree
It is desirable that candidates have some work experience; however it is not essential.
English language requirements
Where English is not the candidate's first language, or their first degree was not wholly taught and assessed in English, an IELTS score of 6.0 must be achieved.

•Management Theory and Leadership
Covers the interdependency of management functions within an organisational structure and demonstrates how leadership can have a positive impact on those functions
•Economics and Finance
Looks at the global financial environment, the nature of global economic interdependency, international business and trade and the impacts on the micro environment of company cash flow, asset value, liabilities and leverage
Focuses on the study and application of theoretical models which underpin strategic decision making
Focuses on the development of a wide range of transferable competencies in the individual

Explores the methodology, methods and tools available to researchers and culminates in the production of the research proposal itself
Critically examines the successful integration and exploitation of information technologies in key business functions
Requires you to produce a research project that applies managerial concepts and research techniques to a significant technology-related organisational issue or problem
Assessments are based on case-studies, simulations, presentations, reports, data analysis.
