This MBA has been designed for ambitious graduates and experienced managers, new to Higher Education, with the level of insight required to not only transform their modes of operation, but also that of the business they are in. The programme is aimed at managers and professionals with a minimum of two years' relevant management experience who wish to develop a portfolio of leadership skills and business competencies. This will be done through the application of frameworks, business models and theories derived from practical business experience, cutting-edge theories and academic texts.

This internationally recognised business qualification can be studied while in employment or as full-time course. As well as stimulating your intellect, the MBA will develop new competencies that will enable you to progress beyond your current position.

Entry requirements

Applicants who meet the minimum level of industry experience should have or expect to gain a good second class Honours degree or above. Applicants with significant experience but who may not be in possession of a first degree are encouraged to apply to study on this programme. Applications to this programme must be supported by TWO references. An IELTS score of 6.5 (minimum of 6.0 in each subtest) is required for participants for whom English is a second language.

Core modules: Business Environment and Analysis; Organisational Design and the Insider Researcher; Plus choose two option modules, one each from groups A and B. Stage 2: Core modules: Strategy for Market Performance; Methods for Research and Dissemination. Plus choose three option modules, one each from groups C, D and E. Stage 3: Core modules: Internal Consultancy Project or Academic Research; Dissertation. Option modules: Public Sector Finance (A); Corporate Finance (A); Strategies for Human Resources (B); Employment Law (B); Critical Management Thinking (B); Operations Strategy (C); Six Sigma 1 (C); Knowledge Management (D); Information Management and Systems (D); Project Management (E); Managing Organisational Change (E); Six Sigma 2 (E).
