Computing and Information Systems
This MSc in Computing and Information Systems focuses on both technological aspects of hardware and software systems, together with a study of their operational and managerial environment. This focus will ensure you are kept up-to-date with technical innovations while also widening your experience by combining your technical skills with an understanding of information technology and its management.
Good Honours degree in Computing or a Computing-related subject or equivalent professional qualification. International applicants: minimum of IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in each component). Applicants awarded a UK degree within 24 months of the start of the MSc are exempt from this requirement.
Core modules: project dissertation; advanced software engineering concepts; research methods; computer systems technology; management of e-business; database design and technology. Option modules: advanced data structures and algorithms; software development with JAVA; computer forensics; computer security.
