It is focused on 4 themes: Energy, Health, New and Advanced Molecules and Materials, and Water and the Environment. These research initiatives transcend the traditional discipline boundaries, integrate the core areas of inorganic, organic, physical and analytical chemistries and intersect with other scientific disciplines, engineering and medicine.

Entry requirements

Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or a Master's degree with Merit in chemistry or a related subject. English Language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
