Students have the opportunity to acquire an advanced and in-depth understanding of key accounting and finance topics (without any requirement of having previously studied accounting or finance). This programme has been designed around the ACCA accreditation system.
A 2.2 Honours degree or above in any subject or an equivalent qualification. Non-native English speakers must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no component less than 5.5 or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
Modules typically include: principles of finance; financial accounting; financial modelling; international financial markets; management accounting; financial statement preparation and analysis; quantitative financial analysis; principles of law for accounting and finance; and an independent project.
