The MSc Civil Engineering course aims to provide advanced training in civil engineering analysis and design, particularly in modelling and analysis techniques.
The entry requirements for the course is a first or second class honours degree in civil engineering or a similar relevant engineering or science discipline. You will also need to have an overall mark of at least 55%, however performance in key modules will also be considered. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
Modules include: fluid-structure interaction; numerical methods for partial differential equations; dynamics and transient analysis; computational plasticity; research case study; water and wastewater infrastructure; reservoir modelling and simulation; advanced structural design.
