On the MSc in Advanced Computer Science course you will be thoroughly prepared for a career in IT or related industries. Modules typically include: critical systems; IT-security: theory and practice; visual analytics; big data and data mining; data visualisation; human computer interaction; big data and machine learning; web application development; high performance computing in C/ C++; software testing; embedded system design; logic in computer science; computer vision and pattern recognition; operating systems and architectures; graphics processor programming; hardware and devices; modelling and verification techniques, and computer science project research methods.
On the course you will be assessed by a combination of written examinations, coursework and a Dissertation.
