Medical Engineering is the application of engineering principles to both the human body and to a broad range of instrumentation used in modern medicine. Our Medical Engineering degree graduates gain the skills of engineering, whilst also providing employers with the added experience and knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to communicate with clinicians.
Normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above in a subject relevant to the area of research. English language requirement IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each component) or Swansea University recognised equivalent.
