Applicants will usually need to have either a good undergraduate degree (2.2 or above) or an equivalent level 6 qualification (equivalent overseas qualifications which will be verified by NARIC) and be currently working within the education arena or a level 5 teaching qualification plus evidence of 5 years' teaching experience within an institution and be currently working within the education arena. Applicants must hold grade C GCSE English and mathematics. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.
Core modules: evidence based practice; independent study; masterly academic practices. Optional modules: curriculum challenges; developing leadership capacity; innovative 21st-century learning; language learning (theory and practice); measuring and evaluating learning; principles of English language teaching.
