Computing

The School of Computing has an active research culture pushing the boundaries of computing and the application of computer systems. Our research work covers a wide range of areas, with projects ranging from highly theoretical to very practical.

Entry requirements

A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or a master's degree in an appropriate subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. All applicants are subject to interview.
English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.

Course modules

Research areas include: artificial intelligence; parallel and distributed systems; healthcare modelling and informatics; systems engineering; systems and information systems.
