Information Management (Systems Analysis and Design)

The Systems Analysis and Design pathway gives students an understanding of how technological information systems work, enabling them to deliver IT-based solutions, such as enterprise systems to business and organisations. You'll learn how to manage data to deliver actionable business insight using creative, sophisticated techniques to solve complex business issues.

Entry requirements

You are expected to hold an upper second-class bachelors degree from a UK university, or an equivalent qualification from an internationally-recognised university. Prior knowledge or experience of your chosen subject area is not required. We welcome applications from recent university graduates from a wide range of disciplines. We require a minimum IELTS 6.5 score with no single element below 5.5.

Course modules

Compulsory modules: business informatics; research methods; business domain and requirements analysis; systems analysis and design; enterprise systems; msc dissertation (information management); IT project management; business service design; business intelligence and data mining; managing complexity using systems thinking and strategic modelling; big data in business.
