International Postgraduate Certificate in Education (iPGCE)

This course will help you develop a deep understanding of planning, teaching and assessment strategies, along with helping you to get the most out of new technologies. It will help you to develop links between practice, theory and research through reflection on your own teaching, in order to enhance your professional performance.

Entry requirements

An honours degree and two years’ experience of working full-time with or for young children. If you don’t have an undergraduate degree, you can register for the Diploma and transfer to a Masters course when you’ve completed enough coursework.

English language requirements

Overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component, or equivalent.

Assessment methods

Each module will require the submission of a 4,000-word assignment and participation in online course discussions.
