Neurology

Neuroscience is a multifaceted research theme, investigating neuroscience at every scale from pathological disease in humans, through studies of brain function in psychiatric disorders, to the biological development of neural tissue; common research interests are in neurodegenerative diseases (diseases of the motor system, basal ganglia and dementia) and neuropsychiatric disorders (psychosis and major affective disorders).

Course modules

Research areas include a wide variety of research topics but they all fall into 5 major categories: neurodegenerative disease; psychiatry and neuroimaging; cognitive neuroscience; clinical neurology; clinical neuroradiology and nueroimaging.
